The Bright Sun brings It to light
A tailor's student was traveling all over the world looking for a job, and at one point he couldn’t even find a single one, his situation was so bad that he didn’t even have a single penny to live with. When he came upon a Jew on his way, the tailor, forgot everything about God, hurled himself on the Jew, and shouted, give me all your cash or I’m going to kill you. The Jew then pleaded for mercy, saying, spare my life, for I have only eight farthings. But the tailor used force and beat the man until he was on the verge of dying, insisting that he has money and shall give it to him. The Jew's final words before passing away were, the bright sun will bring everything to light, and then he died. The tailor's apprentice searched his pockets for cash but all he found were eight farthings, as the Jew had said. Then he picked him up and took him behind a bunch of trees, before continuing his journey to find work. After a long journey, he found a job in a town whose boss had a lovely daughter with whom he fell in love and soon married and had a joyful marriage.
After a while, when they had two children, the wife’s mother and father passed away, and they were left alone in the house. One morning, When the husband was sitting near the window, his wife gave him his coffee, and just as he was about to drink it, the sun shined on it, and the reflection glittered back and forth on the wall above, making circles around it. The tailor then raised his head and said, yes, I would like to bring it to light a lot, yet I can't. His wife then answered, oh my dear husband, what is going on? What does it mean? He told her, I can’t tell you. However, the wife used the kindest and most caring words to convince him, and said, if you love me, you shall tell me, adding that no one will ever know about it, and left him with no time to think. After some time, he finally confessed how a long time ago, when he was traveling around looking for a job, and was extremely exhausted and impoverished, he had killed a Jew, in the hope that he would have money with him, and how during his final moments the Jew whispered the words, the bright sun will bring it to light. And now, the sun had merely tried to bring it to light, as it reflected and drew circles on the wall, but it was unable to. After this, he clearly warned her never to reveal it to anyone, otherwise, she would lose her life, to which she obliged. Yet, shortly after she got back to work, she went to her dear friend and told her the whole story, begging her not to share it with anyone else, but after three days, word spread throughout the town, and the tailor was brought to trial and convicted guilty. And hence, in the end, the sun did bring it to the light.
