James McKenna

James McKenna was born amidst the chaos of enemy aircraft bombing London. His early years were spent in the aftermath of post-war Austria, where he experienced the hardships of that time. Growing up with his mother and siblings, he accompanied his military father on his deployments across various parts of the world.

At the age of 15, McKenna made a significant decision and joined the British Army. He began his journey at the apprenticeship college in Harrogate and later attended the prestigious Royal School of Military Engineering. Displaying his determination and capabilities, he successfully passed the selection process at 17, earning a place in the Paras, where he served in the Gulf and Europe.

Following his military career, McKenna found himself naturally drawn to running his own electronic and physical protection company. This venture provided him with valuable insider knowledge, which he later incorporated into his crime thriller novels, namely “The Unseen,” “The Uncounted,” and “The Unwanted.”

Now a father and grandfather, McKenna expanded his literary repertoire by writing the book “How to Turn $100 into $1,000,000: Earn! Invest! Save!” As a full-time writer, McKenna divides his time between the United Kingdom, Portugal, and Ireland, drawing inspiration from the diverse environments and cultures he encounters along the way.
